Dr. Orit Glenn is a radiologist, specializing in pediatric neuroradiology, at UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She specializes in using advanced magnetic resonance (MR) technologies to diagnose fetal and pediatric brain disorders. She interprets MR images of fetuses and newborns. In her research, she works closely with MR scientists to develop and apply new techniques to better evaluate conditions of the brain.
Glenn earned a bachelor's degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a radiology residency and a neuroradiology fellowship, with a focus on pediatric neuroimaging, both at UCSF, before joining the UCSF medical staff in 2001.
