Clinical Staff

The Fetal Treatment Center's clinical coordinators are integral to your experience at UCSF. They will coordinate your care, beginning with communication with your health care provider. They will coordinate your various appointments with sonography, echocardiology, laboratory testing, and arrange consultations with medical team members. You should feel free to contact our coordinators at any time before surgery or after you leave if you have any concerns.

A UCSF social worker is available to you throughout you and your baby's stay. Our social worker can help you identify ways to cope with the stress of the situation. They will also tour you around the intensive care nursery and other facilities, and help you prepare for what to expect after the baby is born. They can also assist you with lodging arrangements and financial or insurance questions you may have.
