Biography

Dr. Annalisa Post is a perinatologist, an obstetrician who cares for patients with high-risk or complicated pregnancies. She has a special focus in pregnancies with fetal complications, such as birth defects, genetic disorders, and complex multiple gestations. She performs ultrasounds, counsels patients regarding findings, and performs ultrasound-guided procedures such as amniocentesis. She also cares for women with maternal conditions that complicate pregnancy including special focuses in cancer in pregnancy, hematologic disease in pregnancy, and preeclampsia. Her research includes management of pregnancies complicated by monoamniotic twins; management of cancer in pregnancy; and immunology research on the transport of maternal antibodies across the placenta.
