Dr. Emilio Quezada is an assistant clinical professor in the division of pediatric cardiology at UCSF. He is trained in pediatric cardiology and advanced imaging including transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography. His main focus is outpatient prenatal diagnosis with fetal echocardiography and management of congenital heart disease in the pediatric population. He sees patients in the Fetal Treatment Center and the Monterey outreach prenatal diagnostic center. 

Dr. Quezada's priority is to provide compassionate and respectful care to families facing new diagnoses of fetal heart disease. His goal is that families feel informed and empowered while navigating such challenging periods. 

Dr. Quezada earned his medical degree from Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala city. He completed general pediatrics at the University of South Florida and pediatric cardiology at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. He completed a year of advanced non-invasive imaging at UCSF and joined the program in 2016. His research background includes studies of the aorta in Turner syndrome.
